• Authorships criteria and contributions

Based on the recommendations by the ICMJE about the conduct, reporting, editing and publication of scholarly work in medical journals, all authors should have made significant conceptual, intellectual, experimental, and analytical contributions to the research, as well as having participated in writing and revising the manuscript. Also each author should have participated sufficiently in the work to be responsible for its content. All authors should meet the mentioned criteria in ICMJE about authorship and if nobody meets them, they will be omitted from the list.
criteria recommended by the ICMJE:
1. Substantial contributions to the conception or design of the work; or the acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of data for the work; AND
2. Drafting the work or revising it critically for important intellectual content; AND
3. Final approval of the version to be published; AND
4. Agreement to be accountable for all aspects of the work in ensuring that questions related to the accuracy or integrity of any part of the work are appropriately investigated and resolved.
Therefore, the corresponding author should remove the name of researchers who do not meet the above-mentioned authorship criteria including participation in funding, data collecting, or general supervising of the research.
 

• Acknowledgement

Those who do not meet the mentioned Authorship criteria should be listed in the acknowledgement section. The authors should ensure that all persons that have provided general support including, technical help, writing assistance, or a department chairperson are listed in the acknowledgment section. The copyright should be contained written authorization from all authors for publication of the manuscript. Authors should be agreed the order of author listed in the manuscript before submitting it.
 

• Changes in authorship

Before submitting the manuscript in this journal, the authors should be agreed with the authors listed in the manuscript. Any requested changes in authorship including, order, addition, and deletion should be explained in a letter to the editor signed by all authors or email from each author.
 

• Clinical trial registration

According to the International Committee of Medical journal Editors (ICMJE) "a Clinical Trial is any research study that prospectively assigns human participants or groups of humans to one or more health-related interventions to evaluate the effects on health outcomes". Authors from this kind of work should register their trial with one of the ICMJE-recognized trial registries. The number of clinical trial registration and the name of registry must be appeared in the "Materials and methods" section. All Iranian clinical trials must be registered in Iranian Registry of Clinical Trials (www.irct.ir) to consider for publication. The clinical trials that have been registered in any registration site approved by WHO, could be considered for publication. The registration site approved by WHO are as follow:

To observe ethical standards in trials, clinical researches, and studies conducted on animals the Helsinki Declaration (International Association for Medical Practice) should be considered. Issues such as protection of medical secrets, patients' satisfaction and anonymity, as well as conflict of interests are also crucial.
 

• Conflict of interests

The authors should disclose all affiliations considered as conflict of interests. Since authors' conflict of interest is part of the research ethics, the journal will have the right to make any decision about articles that did not mention conflict of interests. The journal will not respond to disputes and complaints from authors and sponsors in this case.
 

• Ethical approval

Approval of the ethical committee should be mentioned in the article content and also sent to the journal office.
 

•  Informed consent

Authors should ensure that an informed consent was obtained from all participants before conducting survey, or, if participants are unable to provide it, informal consent should be obtained from their legal guardian.
 

• Misconduct

Scientific misconduct includes fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism with the intent to deceive by the authors. Honest error or differences in interpretation are not considered misconduct. Breaches of publication ethics include but are not limited to: failure to reveal financial conflicts of interest; omitting a deserving author or adding a noncontributing author; misrepresenting publication status in the reference list; self-plagiarism without attribution; duplicate or redundant publication; and inclusion of one or more sentences verbatim from another source without citing the original source and putting the sentence(s) in quotation marks.
This journal takes seriously its responsibility to ensure scientific integrity and will pursue any allegations of misconduct. The OHHP editors adhere to the COPE Code of Conduct, which can be found at http://publicationethics.org/resources/code-conduct. Charges of academic dishonesty, including plagiarism, duplicate, and redundant publication will be managed according to COPE guidelines.
If the Scientific Integrity Panel concludes there is a reasonable possibility of misconduct, they will consider any of the following options, dependent upon the apparent magnitude of the misconduct. Responses may be applied separately or combined, and their implementation will depend on the circumstances of the case as well as the responses of the participating parties and institutions. The following options are ranked in approximate order of severity:

• A letter of explanation (and education) sent only to the person(s) against whom the complaint is made, where there appears to be a genuine and innocent misunderstanding of principles or procedure.
• A letter of reprimand to the person(s) against whom the complaint is made, warning of the consequences of future such instances, where the misunderstanding appears to be not entirely innocent.
• A letter of reprimand to all co-authors on the paper informing them of the findings of the Panel and warning of the consequences of future such instances.
• A formal letter as above, including a written request to the supervising institution(s) that an investigation be carried out and the findings of that inquiry be reported in writing to the journal.
• Publication of a notice of redundant or duplicate publication or plagiarism, if appropriate and unequivocally documented. Such publication will not require approval of authors, and may also be reported to their institution and, if appropriate, funding agency.
• Formal withdrawal or retraction of the paper from the scientific literature, published in the journal. 

Plagiarism
All received manuscripts will be reviewed and sections that may lead to plagiarism will be identified. Re-publishing, translating, or providing an article to other journals without permission is considered as violation of the Publish and Research law.
If it becomes evident that a manuscript is simultaneously in peer review process of another journal or has been published somewhere else, it will immediately be excluded from the investigation process and thus subjected to the law of duplicate publication. Furthermore, if it becomes evident that the data, images, or any part of a manuscript are manipulated or distorted, then it will be subjected to the law of distortion and data creation.

• Open Access Policy

Occupational Hygeine and Health Promotion Journal dont recive charge for access to its papers. Full text download of all new and archived papers and Registration on OHHP website are free.
OHHP allows readers to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of its articles and allow readers to use them for any other lawful purpose.
OHHP lets others to distribute, remix, tweak and build upon their work, even commercially, as long as they credit us for the original creation.
OHHP has a registered deposit policy.
OHHP allows the author(s) to hold the copyright without restrictions.
OHHP allows the author(s) to retain publishing rights without restrictions.
