Introduction: The overwhelming development of cities has increased the consumption of natural gas, which requires implementation of a gas network and installation of branches for consumers. This has increased the speed and stress of engineers supervising the gas company activities. The purpose of this study was to determine the dimensions of burnout in supervisory engineers of Fars Province Gas Company and to present appropriate solutions to control and eliminate them to improve their health and safety.

Emotional exhaustion and consequent stress were observed among supervising engineers due to their high job stress that causes job burnout and depression among them. The mean emotional exhaustion was 96.2%.
